The Core Idea
Cloud deployment models describe where cloud capabilities run and who can consume them. Public cloud is operated by a provider for many customers. Private cloud is operated for one organization. Hybrid cloud combines environments, often because systems, data, or regulations require different placement choices.

Realistic Scenario
A company may run customer-facing portals in public cloud, keep certain latency-sensitive systems close to a trading location, and connect both to shared identity, monitoring, and security processes. That is hybrid by operating model, not just by network cables.
An Azure strategic footprint may host most modern platforms, while AWS is used for selected capabilities or acquired workloads. The question is not which cloud is fashionable. The question is where the workload fits best and how governance stays consistent.

Why It Matters
Hybrid decisions affect data movement, latency, cost, resilience, identity, observability, and incident response. A hybrid estate can be powerful, but it can also become fragmented if each environment invents its own standards.

Common Misunderstandings
- Private cloud is not automatically safer; controls still need to be designed and operated.
- Public cloud is not automatically public access; workloads can be private and tightly controlled.
- Multi-cloud does not automatically reduce risk; it may increase skills and governance complexity.
- Hybrid is an operating model, not only a network design.

- Keep identity, logging, policy, and deployment practices as consistent as possible.
